Warped Space – E3

Warped Space – E3 transforms the redevelopment zones of Hackney Wick (London) into sculptural interventions, mapping the area’s shifting landscape through photography and material assemblage. Rooted in psychogeography, the project weaves together discarded objects, layered perspectives, and architectural remnants to reframe the built environment.

Wooden monoliths, warped metallic prints, crumpled photographic surfaces, and found sculptural fragments emerge through a dialogue with the initial image, pushing photography beyond its frame and into physical space. Whether glimpsed from a bridge, wedged into a construction site, or encountered along the canal’s edge, these objects disrupt familiar ways of seeing and inhabiting the city.

Against the backdrop of urban redevelopment, Warped Space – E3 examines how space is produced, used, and transformed. Through this interplay of image and object, it rethinks how we navigate, construct, and experience our surroundings, offering a visual language attuned to the complexities of an ever-changing city.
